Job Description:

  • Strong engagement with the Gen-Set OEMs, develop them to key accounts, generate the sales and project leads
  • Develop new customer accounts and drive sales revenue, develop long-term customer relationships
  • Develop relationships with contractors and consultants, predominantly working on critical power projects like hospitals, data centers, airports, PV-Hybrid applications in the region, and get the solutions specified in the projects
  • Generate leads on Retrofit projects, offer turnkey solutions, and win the projects
  • Develop new sales and service channels in the region
  • Organize technical seminars along with Regional Sales Manager
  • Organize technical workshops and training for key account customers and channel partners, create awareness about the solutions offered by the company on different applications

Your Profile:

  • BSc in Electrical Engineering, MBA is a plus
  • At least five years of experience, preferably in leading Gen-Set companies in Turkey
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English
  • Solid sales and business development background, strong business acumen, and global mindset
  • Advanced communication and persuasive skills, ability to build strong relationships with clients
  • Effective teamwork skills

We are looking for a General Manager for the production site “Vetra” of our customer Bierbaum – Proenen (BP).

BP is one of the leading specialists in workwear and personal protective equipment since 1788. With 120 employees in Cologne and another 280 employees in the production site in Mateur – Tunisia, BP’s goal is to make people look professional and modern in their everyday work and to make their work safer, more comfortable, and easier.

Reporting directly to the headquarters in Germany, the General Manager shall be responsible for overall site plant operations in Bizerte. The aim is to lead the company in coordination with the German HQ and the local partners in line with the strategic growth targets, and to perform the necessary improvements in all functions.

Strong management, communication and leadership skills are expected.

Job Description:

  • Have overall responsibility for the production site with all departments, including personnel and budget responsibility
  • Ensure the production organization while taking into account economic, planning and technical aspects
  • Being visionary with regard to market requirements and the implementation of new processing methods
  • Being able to lead and develop employees in such a way that they act autonomously and independently
  • Ensure the introduction and compliance with ISO 9001 with all necessary measures
