Job Description: After evaluating of the business goals of the clients’, FMC Group prepares a job description and if needed, re-designs the job profile requirements according to the local understanding.

Advertisement: FMC Group prepares the job advertisement and posts it to online-job-portals.

Database Search: FMC Group searches its database and checks the interests of the suitable candidates in this position.

Direct Search / Headhunting: FMC Group conducts a direct search by locating the candidates with similar job experiences in the related sectors and contacts them for further evaluation.

Pre-Selection of Candidates: FMC Group evaluates all applications to compare how they match to the listed qualifications and carries out the necessary communications.

Face-to-Face Interviews: FMC Group makes the long list of face-to-face interviews, assesses the candidates in line with the given criteria to select a shortlist of the best fit candidates.

Reporting: FMC Group prepares and delivers a complete report of the short-listed candidates together with their evaluations, resumes, and profiles.

Working Hours in the UAE

The maximum number of ordinary working hours is 8 hours / day, or 48 hours / week. The working hours is reduced by 2 hours / day during Ramadan. The additional period shall be deemed an overtime, and the wage for each overtime is calculated by increasing the normal hourly wage by at least 25 percent of the said wage. Friday is the ordinary weekly rest for all employees.

Vacation Days for Employees in the UAE

Depending on the length of employment, the employees are entitled an annual leave of at least:

  • 2 days for each month between 6 months – 1 year of employment
  • 30 days for each year for more than 1 year of employment

Notice period for employees and probation period

The probation period, where the employer may terminate the services of the worker without notification or end of service gratuity, cannot exceed six months.

The notice period for a permanent employment agreement is minimum 30 days.
